Reviews
Very good food with large portions. The place is much bigger than before as they expanded it. This is our first stop after getting off the early ferry from Long Beach. If you plan on doing that, make sure you go straight there as it can really fill up fast with all the people coming off the ferry. The food had a really good taste and also really good presentation. The waiter was attentive as well. This is our go to breakfast spot on the island.
Stopped by here for a quick break and refresh, ordered a bagel and tuna sandwich in the meantime. Good came out great, my mom liked her bagel. The food was a little pricey but satisfying.
The only meh part was how bored the staff looked, maybe it was a slow day... either way, we would definitely come back next time around and try the breakfast!
A delicious country cooking store with delicious food big portions and tasty. Service with a smile and great conversation.
The food was mediocre, especially for the price. Some things were good (chorizo and eggs) and the bacon was a fair amount (4.5 strips), but the had browns were completely unseasoned, just plain, mushy potato without any crispy to them. The biscuits were small and doughy.
But the main issue was the service. It took 20ish minutes for anyone to ask us for a drink or food order once seated. Someone offered a coffee refill about 2 sips into my cup, and I wasn't offered anymore until we had already paid. It was such a let down compared to literally all the other places we've visited this trip.
The breakfast was OK. We ordered some chorizo beans and rice platter and also the chorizo fajita skillet. The food was OK nothing out of the ordinary, nothing special. For some reason my food was super salty.
Food is very good. But I’m only giving 2/5 for the surprising charges on my check. We actually asked for built in omlet with chicken and avacado.
On the menu it says 3$ each for avacado and meat. But they charged us 6$ with title called “open food” . First of all , they didn’t give us avacado with omlet.. even though we asked. They brought it later to the table. when we questioned about the extra price , the serving person had an unclear explanation and we just had to agree by paying. Wouldn’t recommend this place even though the food is good if they are charging so.
Great spot for breakfast. Custer service was great. Food came out steaming hot. Ordered an Denver Omelet with sourdough toast. Super yummy.
It was very clean and bright lots of windows and super high ceilings.
Great place for breakfast/brunch. We had Chicken Fajita Omlette and California Bennie. Food was excellent. The place is located close to the pier and is the one of the first restaurant you seen after getting off the ferry. Spacious place with great ambience and service. We visited during memorial day weekend and it was hard to get seats in the morning, so go early or very late during busy days.
